I think there is no harm those who Moslem, Christian or a Jewish atheism or if it’s about the music they are free to express themselves. But not to deviate. The question is john lennon an atheism ?
We can not directly declare him an atheism but of lyrics we can conclude that he would like the world is free of evil, malice, no poor or rich or rules compelling (or any religion) that govern their lives. It is clear that John Lennon wanted so ancient world / rock again. where early humans olden times it has no rules, no malice (because there is nothing they fighting), no poor or rich (because all the same), and also there will be no crime (revenge, war, hostilities, conflicts). john lennon want this world peace and unity as it is written in the lyric.
I am very admiring and respecting john lennon, maybe the song “imagine” be a song that disputed all people, but maybe we can be some understanding and learning of the song. I just give my opinion about the song no intention. I just write what i feel.
